The Large Twisty Rug is truly a work of art. Hand woven, each time a color changes horizontally the weaver has to hand knot and change the thread. It's a massive amount of work that takes many hours.

Designed in Denmark and handwoven in Portugal these rugs are produced using cotton fashion industry waste thread and natural jute. The rescued thread is batch dyed for more consistent color then spun together to create a twisty and knotted yarn of sorts, which is then woven into the rug by hand on a large mechanical loom.

Materials: cotton, jute and a nylon binding thread for strength.
